Welcome to Summer Sundays
Your presence is appreciated. “Food for the Spirit” is the theme for the summer sermons this season of Summer Sundays. The sermons will focus on stories from the Bible that involve food and eating and the music is themed to food, too! Childcare is available in the professionally staffed Nursery for children in first grade and younger. Hearing devices and large print bulletins are available from the ushers. You are invited to stay for the refreshments immediately following the service in the Fellowship Hall.

Thank you so much Emily Bell for another wonderful Sunday!!

CHOIR SEASON STARTS AGAIN
The first rehearsal of the choir will be at 9:15 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., September 12th (the first Sunday after Labor Day). All are welcome to join the choir; musical expertise is not a requirement. Just a desire to participate is enough.

CHURCH SCHOOL
“A Joyful Path” will begin September 12th for all our Elementary school children. Melanie Moore is excited about this Fall’s curriculum from The Center for Progressive Christianity. Childcare for the little ones will still be offered by the amazing Claudia.

The next meeting will be October 29th at the home of Ruth Halderman.
We will discuss “Half Broke Horses” by Jeanette Walls. We only have 4 copies of each, but both books can be checked out at your local library.
