The LUCC Book Club will resume meeting Friday September 24th at 6 p.m. at Ruth Ann Dudley’s home. The gathering generally takes place the last Friday of the month. Everyone is welcome. Please bring a covered dish to share.
The book for September is Stones Into Schools by Greg Mortenson. This is a sequel to Three Cups of Tea continuing the story of Greg’s work building schools for girls in Afghanistan.
The October Book Club gathering will be October 29th at the home of Ruth Halderman. The book selection is Half Broke Horses by Jeanette Walls. There are 4 copies of each book available at church and both books can be checked out at your local library.
