Alternatives to Violence Project

Since 1975, AVP has fostered new ways to build connection and stimulate learning to address diversity, conflict, misunderstanding and change. This year we are pleased to partner with Living Mirror Playback Theater to witness the work of Social Justice.

Playback Theater

Playback theater is an interactive, improvisational form of theater where actors and a musician spontaneously enact audience member’s stories. Living Mirror Playback Theater performances promote community dialogue and action by honoring the right of all voices to be heard and making different perspectives visible.
