Welcome to Summer Sundays
Your presence is appreciated. Childcare is available in the professionally staffed Nursery for children in first grade and younger. Hearing devices and large print bulletins are available from the ushers. You are invited to stay for the refreshments immediately following the service in the Fellowship Hall.
CONGREGATIONAL MEETING
A report about the congregational meeting held last Sunday and the bequest given by Madeline Gable is posted on the bulletin board. Many thanks to all who were part of the discussion last Sunday!
MEMORIAL SERVICE
The plants on the altar are from the Memorial Service for Bill Kaspar held yesterday at noon. It was a wonderful celebration of Bill’s life!

SUMMER SERMON SERIES
“Food for the Spirit” is the theme for the summer sermons this season of Summer Sundays. The sermons will focus on stories from the Bible that involve food and eating. If you have a favorite food story or reference in the Bible, make sure to let Rev. Wells know.
THRIFT SHOP – Check out the Thrift Shop “face lift”!
The LUCC Thrift Shop is open Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Volunteering in the Thrift Shop is a wonderful way to be engaged with people from the community and spend time with people from the church. There is a sign up sheet on the bulletin board. You can also volunteer at other times sorting and displaying donations. Contact Melanie Moore (msmooremsmoore@tampabay.rr.com or 742-6569) to get involved.
OPERATION ATTACK
Operation Attack is an ecumenical ministry located in Lakeview Presbyterian Church helping families with children. Please place donations from the list posted on the bulletin board in the shopping cart in the hallway.

Fair trade coffee is available for purchase in the library. Purchasing this coffee helps to directly support the growers.
