Like a Thousand Red Birds

At this morning’s service there was a poem-prayer by the author, Phil Porter: “Like a Thousand Red Birds.”

In anticipation of this poem-prayer, the Church School youth, under the direction of Melanie Moore, created decorations for the church (pictured above) of red birds in a mural, cutouts, and many tiny stone bird sculptures.
