This Sunday May 1st there will be a special service celebrating the Music Ministry of the church. The choir will perform 10 of their favorite anthems from the past year which convey the gospel in song.
Please feel free to invite friends to be blessed by the spirit of song.

Sunday Jan. 16 there was a celebration of appreciation for Stan Hunter and his music ministry at LUCC. Stan has played at LUCC for almost 10 years. Stay posted for notice of jazz events in the community featuring Stan so that we can continue to enjoy his music! Stan will always be loved at Lakewood!
I happened to be at church today and saw the Christmas decorations–they’re really nice. I especially liked the display along the window which I understand is called Displaying Peace. Rev. Wells and the the Advent committee will have more to tell about that, but for now, I just wanted to give everyone a visual sneak preview via a YouTube video.
