New Year’s Day – A Celebration of Intention

In the service on Jan. 1, the congregation was given the opportunity to think about intentions for the coming year.  There were several activities offered to help lead into 2023.  One activity involved identifying a word for the year ahead.  Here are the words that surfaced:  listen, PEACE, CARE, Connect, Love, unconditional, Trust, LEAVE OLD THINGS BEHIND, MY PRIORITY IN LIFE WILL NOT BE ME FIRST, Have faith, Help a confused friend, Be positive, SMILE.  

The boards with the unfinished sentence, ‘Before I die I am going to. . . ‘ were displayed.  Here is the response:

May we all be aware of the blessings that await us in 2023!
